Holy Moley!
Ok, so I started working on this over the summer, thinking of ideas and styles etc. Since before even starting Uni i knew what i wanted my final project to be about.. My Nan.
My idea is going to be my experience going to the hospital to see my Nan when she was ill. I would walk into the room where my Nan was staying and she would tell me about whats been happening (in her mind) but it was very real to my Nan.
I can clearly visualise how i want my final piece to look, claymation for the bed scene (my Nan in a hospital bed) then going off into tangents when my Nan begins to explain things.
For now I'm going to upload parts of my journal that i did over the summer...
Above are the styles i want my animation to be like. I really like the silhouett style and sepia colours. I want the whole film to be in sepia i think, maybe when i decide on the ending i will change the colours slightly if it will fit in with the theme and feel of the film. I feel i can get some strong images by using silhouettes. these pictures are from the game Limbo, the film Harry Potter (the tale of the three brothers) the short film red riding hood and the film 300.
Above are some sketches of what i have in my head for this peieec. Initial ideas maybe? Or concept art?
